Tomorrow will be my first day home with the girls as I have lost my job due to a restructuring at work. We are trying to retain Misty as long as possible but I will be caring for them this week.
This past weekend we were visited by Grammy and Pop Pop. Everyone had a wonderful time as usual. McKenna was very upset when they left and cried all the way home from the airport. I hate to see her cry but she really loves her Grammy and Pop Pop and I think it is a show of her love. I don’t think she cries for Carrie and I at all.
Saturday night we went to Central Market for dinner to listen to the music and play on the playground. After dinner we walked to Amy’s Ice Cream for a treat. Maya even had some frozen yogurt.

Sunday, Mothers Day, we went to the Gospel Brunch at Stubbs. The music was great but it was very hot and sticky.. and Maya ate something that made her have a reaction. It didn’t disrupt her mood and both girls loved the music again. Grammy and Pop Pop spent a good part of the morning chasing them around.
McKenna ate a ton of food and has continued the trend today. She must be going through another growth spurt.

Maya got us up last night and was REALLY coughing. So much that she threw up on Carrie. Carrie got her settled down and back to sleep after about an hour.
