Yesterday we had a really nice family day. We spent the early part of the day at a friend’s 2 Year birthday party. McKenna played a bunch with a little boy named Nate. They are about the same age and got along very well.
The second half of the day was very laid back. The girls didn’t nap but neither one was grouchy. We played on the living room floor. McKenna wanted to pretend she was a snail and insisted that we all crawl around with pillows on our back. I got a small pillow from McKenna’s bedroom and stuffed it under the back of her shirt so it would stay on her back. She kept it there for hours. Maya has been walking short distances… she has really good balance and has it down… it just a matter of confidence at this point. She will be walking all the time very soon I imagine.
Today we are probably going to the pool when the girls get up from their nap. This moring we had some egg free pancakes that were disgusting… but Maya at them. Carrie and McKenna went to the gym and I took Maya on a walk in the woods with Jaxson. The girls are gobbling down some bbq chicken right now with some green beans.
